Mom all the mistakes
I've made,
all the problems
I've caused,
all the lies
I've told,
but you have
always been by my side,
helping me,
incouraging me
to do better
in the race
helping me get
to the finish line.
While running I get tired
ask for your help,
but this time
you didnt come to my rescue
I stood there while I lost
with you there,
but I didn't pay attention
to you.

Although we
laugh, have fun,
and nothing goes wrong
until there's something
about you
that makes me
go mad.
The way you never
let me go
do things I want to do at this age,
things I really want,
but no
you want me to be protected,
you want to be my
security guard,
but that's not what I want.
You let me go to parties,
and have fun.
I dance with my friends,
I have a good time,
until you call me,
you come to pick me up
early,
you never
let me
stay late
not like my friends do,
I start saying goodbye
to everyone
I feel weird
going so early,
because of your fault.

I fall down
and you're always there
to grab my hand.
I cry
and you're always
there to clean my tears.
I've walked through cracks,
and been broken apart,
but you're always there
to feel me up with love and hope.
I get sick, and its raining,
I get a little wet,
and you're my umbrella
from the rain,
from everything.
Although I don't
appreciate it,
I know I love you,
and you know
I love you too.
